In this Jubilee Coppa, we once again offer 3 classes for our participants with classic and historic vehicles. The cars eligible to participate must have been built before January 1, 1986. There is no further subdivision, whether by year of manufacture or engine displacement, in these classes. We certainly welcome pre-war vehicles as well. The three classes offered differ based on the difficulty of the tasks, as well as the difficulty of the road conditions and the distances of the routes.
Class CoppaTouring
This class is designed for beginners, novices, as well as enthusiasts. There are only quite simple, easily achievable orientation tasks, consisting of Tulip system, simpler map reading and the driving according to route description. Here, we offer lower cuts, a moderated course, slightly reduced competition kilometers, as well as regularity- and driving tests (everything will be identical to the tasks of our special class CoppaGT). This way, we ease the difficulties and eliminate the doubts toward the Coppa, which some believe is too challenging for inexperienced teams…!
Class CoppaSport
Traditionally, the CoppaSport class has the highest number of participating teams. This group offers participants who do not have much experience and routine, or want to avoid tough competition with our 'super stars,' a high-quality, full-fledged rally. It is slightly more difficult than our 'Touries' class, but somewhat easier than the CoppaSuper class: fewer kilometers and slightly moderated cuts, but tasks that should not be underestimated...
Class CoppaSuper
The winner of our class CoppaSuper provides the overall winner of our rally! High, demanding quality, the longest distance: This has been exciting our experts and veterans for years, some with decades of experience in high-class events both in their home country and abroad. It is designed for teams who enjoy tough and ambitious competition, like to solve tricky, clever tasks, and relish a fair fight with their opponents until the very last competitive kilometer.
